Wait a few minutes longer, and request the very last row.
Repressed child psychological Pinocchio terrors aside, this restaurant serves up some excellent mid-day lunches that are reasonably priced and will give you the extra energy needed to make it through to dinner.
Another awesome Priceline deal! We stayed at this Hotel for $60/night.
Winter celebrations began November 12th, Cars Land hits "Topping-Out", and the Fairy Tale Suite is featured at the Disney Parks blog.
We were at the park for the Halloween Trick-or-Treat party. Here are some clips from the Halloween-themed parade and fireworks displays.
Pizza Oom Mow Mow closed for remodeling shortly after this video, so the decor will be changing, the we're told the food will be the same. Rumor has it that it will be reopening in May of 2011 as Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta.
This restaurant/food stand is tucked away near the entrance to Toontown, but serves some excellent (and very large) baked potatoes among other great mid-day snacks.
We saw the opening of the Beauty & The Beast Musical at ASU Gammage Auditorium last night and had a blast.
This is probably the first restaurant we ever went to when we arrived at Disney together for the first time. Naples has excellent food, and extremely large portions, so don't over-order unless you know you have a place to put the left-overs.
The best french fries you'll ever eat, from Cafe Orleans at Disneyland. This fries are covered with parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, and Cajun spices, and are accompanied by a Cajun remoulade dipping sauce.
It's here! And it's glorious!
Let your taste buds take flight at Taste Pilot's Grill. Classic American burgers and fries make this casual dining restaurant in California Adventure a fun break in the day.
Planning out your trip can be stressful, and nothing is worse than omitting this important step. Don't miss out on the delicious culinary treats Disneyland has to offer!
Making a sundae isn't that difficult, even one as good as what comes out of Disneyland. You just pile on a bunch of ingredients. So what makes this episode so special? We like to make everything from scratch; the ice cream, the whipped cream, the hot fudge and caramel sauces. Even the fresh waffle cone aroma fills the rooms of our home with this one.
Loaded baked potato soup, turkey sandwiches on pretzel bread, shepherd's pie, and all sorts of wonderful breakfast and lunch meals served right off Main Street.
Ticket prices are increasing, the Maliboomer's going away, but Aladdin The Musical seems to be sticking around for the time being.
The best seat in Space Mountain might not be where you'd expect.
Cafe Orleans is one of our favorite restaurants in the park. Not only do they have a variety of delicious dishes, but the location is excellent for multiple reasons.
As someone who likes comfort food, and enjoys making meals in large batches to be warmed up later, I find Walt's personal chili recipe to be a fantastic staple in my refrigerator so that it's always accessible when I'm on the go. The great thing about chili is that it's so versatile -- I can play around with the spices and make a slightly different version each time.
We had to go through the JUNGLE for this recipe, people. THE FREAKING JUNGLE! This is an awesomely simple recipe to do, and the results are delicious! Try them out and let us know how they worked for you.
This easy to make, waistline enhancing sandwich is a must-try at home! It's amazing SIMPLE it was to make this much deliciousness!
We visited this restaurant as part of our World of Color premium viewing package. They provided a special menu that included bread, salad, a main course, and a desert platter, all of which was excellent!
When it's cold and rainy outside, this is the place to go for a nice, warm meat-and-potatoes meal.
If you've never been to Disneyland's Carnation Cafe to try this favorite, then you're missing out. Luckily, here is your opportunity to make this delicious soup right at home!
These two rides can be extremely popular, especially in the summer during the heat of the day. CL and I decided to take a ride on Splash Mountain in December at night, and we discovered something interesting that will come in handy on our future winter trips to the park.
In this episode, we bring you Raspberry Coulis and Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise, just as we promised last time, which make perfect dipping sauces for the Mickey Beignets.
In our pilot episode, we show how to prepare and cook the Mickey Beignets as found in Disneyland's Cafe Orleans and Blue Bayou. These delicious "French fritters" (doughnuts) are a tasty closing to any meal and well worth all the long, hard, and tedious work to get them just right.
The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor is located on Main Street and has not only the look and feel, but the aroma, of an old time ice cream shop.
There are plenty of healthy fruits and other goodies for making your way through long days in the park. Nick Coons from A Mouse And A Dream shows you how.
During our trip to the park in mid-June for the World of Color, we had to try one of the infamous corn dogs. Here is our initial reaction.
The Fastpass system was introduced by Disney in 1999, and is a way to jump ahead of long lines at your favorite rides. Most of the major rides are available by Fastpass. The system works like this. You go to a Fastpass Distribution point (which will be near the entrance to the attraction), insert your park pass, and a Fastpass is dispensed. Printed on the Fastpass is a one-hour window at some point later in the day indicating when you may return to the ride and skip to the front of the line.
