Winter celebrations began November 12th, Cars Land hits "Topping-Out", and the Fairy Tale Suite is featured at the Disney Parks blog.

Beginning last Friday, November 12th, guests to Disneyland will enjoy nightly snowfall on Main Street; one of the many winter holiday treats. Included in Disney's annual celebration are holiday versions of "It's A Small World", "Haunted Mansion", and "A Christmas Fantasy" parade. The Christmas Tree in the Town Square is 60-feet tall and contains 62,000 LED lights.

On October 29th, the Topping-Out milestone is reached in Cars Land. "Topping-Out" is a tradition wherein the highest piece of steel in a given project is installed. The final beam is painted white and signed by the construction workers and management. Cars Land is set to open in California Adventure in 2012.

Earlier today at the Disney Parks Blog, the new Fairy Tale Suite at the Disneyland Hotel is spotlighted. The suite became available in July this year, and is one of the newest Signature Suites, joining the Big Thunder Suite and others. It features Tinkerbell with pixie dust encased in the wall, an enormous bedroom overlooking the entire resort through floor-to-ceiling windows, a canopy bed, and glass furniture. But the centerpoint is the bathroom, with dual vanities, a television hidden behind the mirror, and other amenities including a steam-shower Jacuzzi tub. You can call reservations to get exact pricing, but $3,800/night is a good estimate to help get you started.
