Grand Vizier {Jafar}, voiced by Jonathan Freeman, was the Sultan's right-hand man and provided him counsel. Unfortunately, {Jafar's} motives are often self-serving in his lust to become Sultan in whatever way he can.

After capturing the Genie to do his bidding, {Jafar} is tricked by Aladdin into wishing himself to become a Genie, at which point he becomes a slave to the holder of his new lamp.

{Jafar} is tall and thin, often seen in dark-colored robes and carrying a cobra-head staff. He is, for obvious reasons, no longer the Sultan's Grand Vizier.
