Plot Outline:
Aladdin is a street rat. Grown up poor, he's lived off of stealing from street vendors his whole life. One day in the market he comes across a woman hiding in long robes, only to find out that it's the kingdom's princess, Princess Jasmine. After being mistakenly arrested, Aladdin finds himself making a deal with the devil - or in this case, Jafar - and agrees to go on an adventure to recover a treasure for the sultan's consultant who is really an evil sorceror plotting to take the throne from the Sultan.

Aladdin sets out to recover the treasure - a magic lamp - and finds out there's more to the teasure than gold. Inside the lamp resides a Genie, who fast becomes Aladdin's best friend and grants him three wishes. Smitten with the Princess, Aladdin uses his wishes to make her fall in love with him. Things don't go according to plan, and we soon learn that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to these characters.
